About Team Fusion
Team Fusion tryouts are held in the spring and consist of on-ice skills assessments by a cross-section of coaching team members. The coaching team works together to build teams that are suited to skaters' skill levels, growth opportunities, and chemistry. The goal is to find a suitable team position for all skaters so they can continue to progress and develop their synchro skills.
Star 4
- Assessed to standard with ranking
- 8 - 16 skaters
- Pre-requisite: All skaters must have completed the STAR 1 Skills assessment
- Age: Age grouping may be used only if numbers warrant.
Star 6
- 8 - 16 skaters
- Age: Skaters must not have reached the age of 15 and at least 75% of the skaters must not have reached the age of 13 before July 1 preceding the competition
Novice
- 12 - 16 Skaters
- Age: Skaters must not have reached the age of 16 before July 1 preceding the competition
Gold
- 12 - 16 Skaters

Open
- 12 - 16 Skaters

Adult 1
- 8 - 20 Skaters

Adult 2
- 8 - 20 Skaters
